Ahhh, the Michigan Renaissance Festival. The one time of the year where plus size girls are the queens, Dungeons & Dragons followers can wear their costumes outside of mom's basement and you get to eat meat on a stick in public.

This festival comes to town every year from August thru October and should be seen by the whole family. All ages will come away with fond memories of an era not so forgotten by some.
